Meet our Founder and President

Ayman Youssef, P.Eng., M.Eng., Dipl.-Ing.

Ayman Youssef is a seasoned mechanical engineer and energy-efficiency specialist with 35+ years of global experience across Saudi Arabia, Canada, and Europe. A licensed Professional Engineer and Diplom-Ingenieur, he has built a distinguished career leading advanced sustainability programs, smart-building technologies, and large-scale energy-performance projects.

Before founding OptiEnergi, Ayman served as an Engineering Specialist at Saudi Aramco, advising executive leadership on emerging technologies, AI-driven building analytics, data-center efficiency, and high-impact investment decisions. He led one of the Kingdom’s largest ESCO initiatives—covering 700+ buildings—achieving $97M in capital offsets and 200 kilotons of CO₂ reduction.

His work spans HVAC optimization, renewable-energy integration, building-code development, energy auditing, and corporate decarbonization strategy. He played a key role in national programs such as the Saudi Energy Efficiency Program (SEEP) and contributed to the development of the Saudi Building Code (SBC 601/602) and the Kingdom’s first Climate Zone Map.

Ayman is a long-standing member of global standards organizations—including ASHRAE, ANSI, CSA, and the Saudi Building Code Committee—and has published 20+ technical papers on advanced HVAC systems, building-energy simulation, and sustainable design.

With a career defined by rigorous engineering expertise and a commitment to innovation, Ayman leads OptiEnergi with a clear mission: advancing energy efficiency and smart-building performance through data-driven, world-class engineering solutions.
